HI all. I can't believe I did. I was so scared I almost didn't do it. Very, very swollen. Can't swallow well. It hurts to swallow. It's hard to breathe out of my mouth. I'll post more later and pictures.
Thanks Louise. It's not very painful except when I touch the back of my jaw. I'm just super swollen and it's hard to get liquid down, but I'm getting better. I think I will like it once the swelling is gone. I think the doc did an awesome job. I was in surgery 6 hours. It was a long surgery. He did fix my chin and my nose.
Congratulations on making it through! You're probably still suffering right now, but I promise you that things will improve in the next few days. Just focus on positives and relax - you'll be through the worst in no time :)
Hi. I am 6 days post-op and just want to let you know that each day it gets better and better. The worst is definetly behind you. Swallowing, breathing improves dramatically. I noticed that swallowing cold liquids was easier during the first stages. Anyway, congratulations! This is such a big accomplishment. Can't wait to see some pics! Take care.
